At American Grinding, we offer fabrication services to build structures and assemblies, primarily for the automation, automotive, aircraft, and food production industries. We operate a technology-driven fabrication department and produce products to high standards. Our steel warehouse is always well stocked with plate, bar stock, I-beams, angles, and tubing, allowing us to get to work immediately on most fabrication projects. We use computer-aided design technologies and diligent planning and scheduling to optimize both product and process.

Materials we fabricate include stainless steel, tool steel, HRS, and other metals and alloys. We have 10-ton lifting capacity for maneuvering large-scale fabrications up to 14' x 10', and our fabrication staff has a broad mix of metalworking skills. Inside our fabrication department, we operate saw cutters and a CNC flame cutter capable of powering through plate measuring up to 14" thick. Our assets also include a shot-blasting booth for cleaning, strengthening, or polishing metal, and thermal stress relief ovens, and vibratory stress relief equipment for stabilizing metals and large weldments. We have machining equipment to create holes, key slots, and other features, and an extensive grinding department for surface finishing. We also have facilities for painting and plating.

With our quality-oriented fabrication strategies, we comply with the most exacting tolerances and standards. Every step of the fabrication process includes numerous test and inspection checkpoints to ensure the highest accuracy at all stages of the build.
